Low cloud over the valleys will gradually break up, allowing increasing amounts of sunshine. Low cloud may linger in some valleys, however. Afternoon highs will range from 8°C in the Wipptal valley to 13°C in the Unterland.
Mountain weather
Once the lingering cloud and patches of fog have cleared, there will be mostly sunny weather.

The weather
Any local low cloud will clear, allowing plenty of sunshine at first. Cloud will gradually spread in from the west during the afternoon. Light precipitation is possible along the main Alpine ridge in the evening. After morning lows of -1°C to 3°C, afternoon highs will reach 8°C to 11°C.
Mountain weather
The new week will start with plenty of sunshine before cloud increases from the west later in the day. Light snow is possible in the Ortler mountains and along the main Alpine ridge during the evening.
The next days
Changeable weather: Tuesday will be rather cloudy, with only occasional sunny spells. There may be light rain at times towards the Reschen Pass. Wednesday will start mostly sunny with some thin high cloud. Cloud will thicken from the southwest later in the day. Cloud will dominate on Thursday, with a little light rain possible in places towards evening. Friday will be dull and frequently wet, with snow above 2200 to 2500 m.
